This months theme is “Outside” Inside the book it tells you how to do each activity and more!
Pete the Cat – PlayBall!
This book is all about teaching youngsters that it doesn’t matter who wins or loses and learning the importance of playing fair, not just winning! I think this is a good way to learn little ones the important things like playing fair whilst still having fun, seeing pictures and reading!
I is for Ice Cream
This activity was all about the letter “I” It included an ice cream poem, flash card and stickers. It’s pretty cool that they include stickers so there are quite a few words with the letter I to learn!
For coloring of course
Bug Inspection Kit
This is so cool, perfect for a little adventurer! The little butterflies and bugs are actually rubbers, you put the bugs on the floor, your kid picks them up with the tongs and can inspect them with the magnifying glass that was included (not shown) then add them to the cup!
Count the Plants!
My son had fun with this, he loves counting, great way to learn about nature while also learning to count! You are supposed to look at the flashcards and let your child decide if the stems are straight or bent but Dylan had more fun counting them!
Make a Fox!
Dylan liked this, you pretty much get all of the stickers and use them along with the fox outline to make it look just like a fox with the tail and eyes!
Foam Bug Magnifying Glass Craft kit
This was the magnifying glass I was talking about, you create a butterfly or dragon fly with the foam bits, glue on the eyes and make a pretty looking magnifying glass!
This is a sheet of paper on a stick, your kid can use the crayons and color it in! Then you can have your child look through the mask and pretend they are a bug, great for learning pretend play!
Add the numbers together and match them up with the correct amount of preparation items!
A little story card
This is a picture of all the camping and activities, read the poem to your child and explain what they are doing in the photo!
Ants at the Picnic
You can count the ants, match them up to the colors and have a picnic all at the same time!
Daddy’s Handy Helper
My son is always trying to get into my husbands work tools, I thought this was funny! You stick both bits of paper together and it makes a toolkit, you can add the little paper tools too it!
J Stickers and Flashcard
Another flashcard set, this time with the letter “J” it would be cool if these are all included in different boxes throughout the year, they are great for learning letters!
Match the animals up to the sounds! These are a great Idea, Dylan loves learning about the different sounds animals make!
There is a great curation of items in this months Adventure Trunk Subscription Box! The magnifying glass and toolkit were Dylan’s favorites. I love that they include a book showing you how to do all of the activities, The price is definitely worth it, you can pretty much do lots of preschool activities from the comfort of your own home, spend time with your child or even let the babysitter do some of the activities if you have one!
I’m interested to see what future boxes include as Dylan had a lot of fun with this! If you would like to find out more or sign up for Adventure Trunk Click Here!
