Celebrating my Little One’s Halloween for the first time! #BRUHalloween

October 16, 2014

This is a Sponsored post written by me on behalf of  Babies “R” Us and P&G. All opinions expressed are 100% my own.

I have never really celebrated Halloween in a big way before, especially since I am originally from the UK, it just wasn’t a big thing, in America it’s huge! So now that Dylan is almost 4 and I have a baby girl, their is no better excuse to dress up and have fun!  Dylan hasn’t been trick-or-treating before and we plan on taking him out this year along with one of his little friends to get some of that good ole’ candy!

I was at Babies R’ Us earlier today and picked up a couple of awesome costumes for both of my kids, I was originally going to buy Dylan the Iron Man Costume which is also sold there, but I ended up seeing this gorgeous Mickey Mouse Costume and a Minnie Mouse Costume too!  I had to get both, I can’t think of anything cuter than both of my little ones dressing up as Minnie and Mickey for Halloween!

There was actually 30% off each costume which made the deal even better, although I still would have bought them both that was a nice surprise!  I have no doubt that we will be out for a few hours Trick-or-Treating this year, especially since Dylan’s friend will be there too, those pair get up to mischief!

Join in the fun at Babies “R” Us

On Saturday, Oct. 18 at 10 a.m, all Babies“R”Us stores nationwide will be hosting an in-store Halloween event for moms to celebrate Halloween with their babies!

The events will include:

  • Craft time where you and your baby can design a personal trick-or-treat bag
  • A parade around the store where you and your baby can show of your Halloween costume
  • Halloween story time where you can sit with other moms and babies and listen to a story from Highlights magazine

My whole family will be joining in the fun at our local Babies “R” Us store and I am super excited as this is this first year of many to come that I will be celebrating Halloween with my family!

I would also like to mention how awesome Pampers work, I have no doubt we will be out for at least a couple of hours and out of all the Baby Diapers I have tried, Pampers are the only ones that stay leak proof hours!  I do not want to be worrying about changing my daughter every 30 minutes while I am out, so pick up some Pampers along with your beautiful costumes whilst at Babies “R” Us!

Whilst you are there, take advantage of these great offers!

  • Get a FREE $10 Gift Card when you buy any two Pampers super packs of diapers.
  • Buy any Pampers value box of wipes for only $19.99 and save $4.00!

Do you have a cute photo of your baby in their first Halloween costume?

From 10/15 to 10/31: Share your baby’s Halloween photo with #BRUHalloween or enter at for a chance to win a $1,000 Babies”R”Us Gift Card!
