Delicious Chili Bean and Black Bean Dip Recipe

Beans are a big thing in my house and there are so many different types of beans offered by S&W Beans that I am never short on ideas and options for a quick and easy dinner or tasty snack.  One of my favorite things to make is bean dip, my husband would snack on bean dip every night if he could, it’s just such an easy snack to make and with a bag of tortilla chips on hand, you have yourself the ultimate thing to eat whilst binge watching your favorite TV Show.

Chili Bean and Black Bean Dip recipe

Ingredients

  • 1 Can S&W Black Beans
  • 1 Can S&W Black Chili Beans
  • 2 Avocados
  • 1 Lime
  • 3 Garlic Cloves
  • 1 Large Beef Tomato Diced
  • 1 Red Onion
  • Fresh Cilantro
  • Salt and Pepper to taste
  • Serves 3 – 4 People

Open both cans of beans and drain about 95% of the sauce inside the can.  Add beans to a blender.  Slice the tomato into quarters, remove the seeds and dice it into small pieces, add to the blender.

Slice the avocado in half and scoop out the inside, add it to the blender, chop up your red onion, add it to the blender.  Pick out 3 large garlic clove and either use a garlic press or chop up the garlic into very small pieces and add it to the blender. Chop up 1/4 cup of cilantro, add it to the blender and lastly, cut your lime in half and squeeze the juice into the blender.

Blend for about 30 seconds until there it’s slightly chunky but has a dip-like texture.  Add your bean dip to a bowl and garnish with leftover diced tomato and Cilantro!

    That does look good. I love making my own dips, bean dips especially. Garbanzo beans for hummus, black beans or kidney beans for others, are good too.
