Family Time 17-month day planner by Dotmine Review #lovemyplanner
When it comes to blogging and work I am very, very organized but when it comes to family time I feel that we could be a little more organized and it would certainly help the kids and myself stay on top of things better.
We tend to do things at the last minute and I am terrible for forgetting Dr appointments and those kind of things, when I heard about the Family Time Planner it sounded like the perfect way for me to organize things better and keep on top of everything!
What I look for in a planner is quality, durability, usefulness and of course it has to be pretty! The planner I decided on in called “Free Bird”, is is very sturdy and all of the pages are beautifully put together. Dotmine has a few different styles and colors of planners but I loved the pattern on this one, the color and the little bird!
When you open the planner there is a weekly schedule for fall, then winter and further into the planner there is one for Spring and Summer. There is a huge space to jot down the most important things like dates and times which is perfect if you have something you need to do every day or every week you can just have a glance at that page.
There is also an introduction page inside the planner which shows you how to use everything!
Next there is a space for you to write in your own contact information and a space for emergency numbers and other numbers, this is really handy, especially if you lose your planner or need to keep important numbers stored in one spot!
The next section shows you all of the holidays for 2014 – 2015, this is perfect since I am always having to google when a certain holiday happens!
There is also a space to add stickers that will keep you up to date on things and each month has a large section to write in for each day of the week, then at the end of the month there is a large page to write in your extra notes.
Near the end of the planner is a space to write down fun & fans contact details, work contacts, family contact and even your kids contact information. Near the very end there is a grid calendar so you can circle and keep not of important dates.
If you have any important notes, paperwork, receipts or anything you want to keep close by, you can store it in the handy back pocket area!
“A beautiful antiqued birdcage with a little birdie who just had to get out and share her song with us! The world’s best mom planner agenda and family calendar—developed by moms, for moms—also makes a great teacher planner, editorial calendar for bloggers, nurses’ organizer and more!”
This planner will come in perfect for this year and next year, I recently just removed my son from the preschool he was attending because they decided to move his class to another destination which is around 15 miles from my house and I am not comfortable with him being so far away.
Unless he starts back at another preschool soon I will have a lot of things to plan out to keep him occupied and learning, this is a fantastic planner and will be put to good use throughout this year and next!
