Fight Frizz this Fall with Alberto VO5! #Giveaway

September 15, 2015

My hair is frizzy, seriously, it takes me about an hour to straighten it, then when I go outside and it’s hot or it rains my hair instantly frizzes up again.  I received some awesome products from Alberto VO5 to test out, they help with frizz and also keep the moisture in your hair, which is great because my hair dries out easily.

Hot Oil Therapy Moisturizing Treatment

HotOilTherapy-643x600Indulge yourself in VO5 Hot Oil Therapy’s 5-vitamin and protein rich formula. This will soothe your scalp and senses while moisturizing and conditioning hair from the roots to ends, helping to restore it’s natural shine, strength and softness.

You only have to use this once per week, I have used this twice over the last couple of weeks and already see a little more shine in my hair.

Since my hair is so dry it can be hard to get a brush through it sometimes and this really helps with keeping it conditioned.

VO5 Smooth and Sleek Shampoo and Conditioner

VO5_SS_1SmoothSleek_Cndtr-240x600VO5_SS_1SmoothSleek_Shmp-240x600VO5 Salon Series Smooth + Sleek with a unique smoothing complex helps frizzy, unruly hair become miraculously manageable and flawlessly smooth from roots to ends.

When I use both of these products together they are amazing! I love the smell, the texture and the way they make my hair feel afterwards, once my hair is straightened I love how silky it feels!

I always leave conditioner in my hair for around 3 minutes to get the maximum effect, the conditioner is one of my new favorites from VO5, It really helps with controlling the dryness.

Shine, Go and Glow Beauty Oil

Beauty-oil-194x600Light, natural oil blend for both hair and body. This new innovative oil that’s mineral oil-free, quickly helps replenish dry hair and skin to help you feel soft, silky and look radiant.

I love this too, I normally use argan oil in my hair but sometimes it makes it feel greasy and greasy hair ain’t good.

I also get a dry scalp from time to time and this has definitely helped with making my skin feel better too.

My biggest hair problem…hmmm, there are so many!! I guess lack of volume because I have fine, thin hair is the biggest issue. Add to that the big cowlick in the back that I’m constantly fighting and then finally my constantly dry, strawlike hair that just never looks like the models’ hair on the commercials…sigh.
