About 8 years ago I bought what I thought was the best flat Iron ever.. and recently it broke on me, 8 years is a long time for a hair product to last and I am surprised it even lasted that long! Well I was a little crushed because we had became quite acquainted over the years and when Flat Iron Experts offered to send me the KQC X-Heat Tourmaline Ceramic Flat Iron to review I was super excited and (almost) fell out of my chair, seriously no joke!
The KQC X-Heat Tourmaline Ceramic Flat Iron has been rated one of the best flat irons on the market and is used by top hair stylist all over the world.
This iron works to straighten, flip, curl and tame frizzy uncontrollable hair and provides long lasting results (My hair is still straight after 8 hours and 90 degree heat).
The KQC X-Heat Tourmaline Ceramic Flat Iron heats upto 410 F within 30 seconds and the ceramic heaters provide a stable and precise temperature.
Tourmaline / Ceramic Technology
The ceramic technology helps to distribute the heat across your hair evenly, eliminates damaging hot spots and retains heat more efficiently.
- Preserve more moisture within the hair shaft
- Eliminates frizz and close the cuticle to create smooth and shiny hair
- Causes less damage to the hair cuticle during styling
I am by no means an expert when it comes to flat irons, I have had one good flat iron in the last 8 years, so KCQ was new to me, but one thing I do know is that only a high quality flat iron will straighten my hair!
Now for my results…
First of all I want to show you just how thick and disgustingly frizzy my hair looks, not a happy lady up there ^^. Even using a hair dryer does not get my hair straight, without a decent straightener my only option is to tie my hair back or make it curly with lots of styling products and since my straighteners broke on me this has been my only option for the past month!
I have the thickest, frizziest hair you could imagine, hair dressers love it because it’s long and great to experiment on but I am no hairdresser and It drives me crazy at times!
BIG Smiley face up there! Well I was trying to not look too excited but I was holding in my joy! The KQC X-Heat Tourmaline Ceramic Flat Iron is a winner and works even better than my old beloved flat irons, now I have a new best friend!
My hair used to take about an hour to straighten and with these it took me around 25 minutes, remember my hair is extremely thick and frizzy so this was amazing for me! The straightener also didn’t pull on my hair, not once. maybe this is new with technology or maybe not but I couldn’t be more pleased and impressed!
If you look at the first picture I had used the shine spray, the second one I hadn’t and I definitely see a little added shine in there!
Now just so you can see how awesome the KQC X-Heat Tourmaline Ceramic Flat Iron works I made a little video, holding a smartphone and straightening my hair at the same time isn’t easy and it usually takes me once or twice going over each strand while using a brush which I couldn’t do here, but watch this video and check out how great these hair straighteners work!
Now that you have seen how amazing the KQC X-Heat Tourmaline Ceramic Flat Iron works check it out for yourself!
