The Products

Enjoy Life Gluten Free Dark Chocolate

Enjoy Life Gluten Free Dark Chocolate

I’m more of a milk chocolate person, but as much as I like dark chocolate, I really liked this bar!  Maybe I was craving chocolate, but it was really sweet and not as bitter as some dark chocolate.

Gimme Organic Seaweed Snacks

Okay, so this is the first time I have ever tasted seaweed…  It tastes like fish, the texture was sort of light and crispy.  Not bad at all, but not really my thing, I probably won’t eat these again, but I am glad I got the chance to try out seaweed!

3

Sensible Portions Garden Veggie Chips Sea Salt

I love veggie chips!  They are just like the “sticks”.  Great flavor and healthy!

4

Dang Toasted Coconut Chips Caramel Sea Salt

Okay, these are amazing!  I’ve never heard of coconut chips mixed with caramel, they have a good crunch and I think they are delicious!

datebar

Go Healthy New York Date Bar

Arghhh dates!  I can’t really comment on these as me and dates don’t mix very well!  The flavor and texture of dates are just something I can’t stomach.

Plum Kids Organic Mashups Squeezable Fruit

My son loves squeezable fruit drinks, big win for me!

f

Happy Times Veggie Pals Carrot orange apple chews

Love these!  I think I have tried them before, great for a healthy afternoon snack and they are sweet too!

organic super cookies

Go Raw Organic Chocolate Super Cookies

Hmmm, okay these are the weirdest cookies I have ever tasted!  They are crunchy and have a mixture of flavor, I’m not sure whether I like these or not, they have dates in them and I think I could taste the dates.. slightly, however they do have a nice chocolate taste too, probably not something I would buy but I’m happy I got to experience them!

organic trail mix

Trophy Farms All Natural Trail Mix

Pretty much your average trail mix, I love trail mixes and the mixture of fruit and nuts, great for snacking on!

wai lana chips

Wai Lana Chips Sea Salt and Vinegar

I tried these in another box, but they were the Thai curry flavor and tasted amazing.  The sea salt and vinegar ones are even better!  I love these chips and the texture of them is sort of melt in your mouth, they are full of flavor!  These are chips I will be buying!

Trophy Farms All Natural Cashews

I forgot to take a picture of the ones i received but here is another..  Crunchy Cashews, you can’t go wrong, great for a snack or in a salad!

The Verdict

I love the curation of Healthy Surprise, although I didn’t like everything in the box, I got to try out some snacks I would probably never have bought on my own, such as the seaweed and all natural cookies!  Overall I think Healthy Surprise is a great way to experience new healthy foods and a great value!

Healthy surprise also included a $25 gift card to spend on a gift box!

Sounds like my kind of subscription box! Plus, I love that it’s monthly, so I wouldn’t have to think about snacks, and I wouldn’t need to go out and buy junk, because 11 snacks sounds pretty satisfying for a month.

Totally agree! It really depends on what kind of snacks you like, I’m trying to cut down on the chocolate!
