How To Keep Hands Moist During Winter

This is a sponsored post written for Neutrogena. I was compensated and provided complimentary products for this post. All opinions are my own.

Since I was 18 years old I have suffered from dry skin, one of the main things I suffered with was psoriasis but thankfully with the right medication I have that mostly under control but I still get dry skin and it’s a real bummer living up north sometimes, especially in winter.  Over the last 2 weeks we have had around 7 inches of snow and the cold weather really takes it’s toll on my skin leaving it dry, but the one way I prepare myself is by keeping my skin moisturized and it greatly reduces the effect the winter weather has on my body.

I have tried out hundreds of different skincare products but I always end up liking the ones that have a story behind how they are made, where they come from and what ingredients are used to make them unique.  I find that skincare products with uniqueness to them have a much better effect on my skin and tend to keep my skin moisturized for longer.  My most recent skincare product I have been testing is the Neutrogena® Norwegian Formula® Hand Cream, as soon as I heard about it and the unique story behind how it was formed, I knew I had to try it, this is the type of skincare product I go for and I am also a huge fan of Neutrogena® products.

Neutrogena® Norwegian Formula® Hand Cream is clinically tested to help heal dry skin and I personally saw a difference after using it only a couple of times.  I often forget to wear gloves when I am outside or I can’t find my gloves because my toddler has ran off with them but that’s another story. When I forget my gloves, that seems to make my hands worse and I have noticed that whilst using the Neutrogena Hand Cream my skin retains it’s moisture better even if I forget my gloves and head out in the cold air.  It’s fast drying but keeps your hands feeling moist and it doesn’t have a sticky or messy formula, it soaks into your skin pretty quickly.

Neutrogena® Norwegian Formula® Hand Cream repairs your skins natural moisture barrier and it will even help eliminate 7 signs of damage like dry cuticles, roughness and more.  When I heard that Norwegian Formula® was originally developed in Norway for Arctic Fishermen I was intrigued to test this out, I have uncles that go fishing and the cold air mixed with the salt really dries out their hands so I knew this would be great.

Neutrogena® Norwegian Formula® Hand Cream works great for indoors too, we constantly have the heat because my husband is constantly cold and I find that the hand cream works great for indoors and for everyday use.  My husband who rarely ever uses skincare products tried this out and has been using it on his hands ever since, so that’s a good thing for sure.

Do your hands get dry in Winter? Let me know!  And if so you should definitely check out the Neutrogena® Norwegian Formula® Hand Cream, it has worked wonders for my hands and I can’t recommend this enough!

My hands definitely get dry every winter! I always try to avoid shaking hands at church on Sunday because I’m embarrassed about my hands. Good to know there’s a lotion that can help. Thanks for sharing.
