My First Pirate Treasure Kit was the first of a few toys myself and Dylan checked out this weekend, it’s an exciting and rewarding little game that got my son and I digging away for treasure!
Now first thing first, as fun as this little adventure is, I recommend doing it outside, It can get a little messy, or if your anything like me, you will be covered in clay afterwards.
The Pirate Treasure Kit comes with temporary tattoos, a compass, Treasure chest, an eye patch and few more things for you to check out further on in the game. I didn’t think I would need instructions but this is more than just digging!
Dylan instantly went for the eye patch, super cute and there is no better way to get into the pirate spirit than wearing the classic “I’ve lost my eye patch”.
When we started digging for treasure, I put some water of the block to dampen it a little, then Dylan and I started scraping away at it.
It’s definitely a project for kids like my son and probably not so much for me because I’m impatient, I ended up looking like a clay figurine by the end of it which my husband though was hilarious, he doesn’t understand how I get myself into these situations and neither do I!
After a little while we uncovered our first piece of treasure and underneath there was more treasure, a ring and even some little gems, Dylan was super excited and I think the ring was his favorite!
As you can see I got myself in a mess, but the treasure made it all worth it and seeing the smile on Dylans face! This isn’t just a game, it’s science! Children will learn a little bit about the sea, compasses, the history of pirates and more as you explore everything!
This was a fun and messy experience, very rewarding for Dylan, especially finding treasure and he learned a little bit more about pirates and how you find gold!
