Our time at Build A Bear Workshop!

We recently visited Build  A Bear workshop in the mall near where I live, Dylan has never been there before and after I received a $40 gift certificate from Smiley 360 I thought why not!

I honestly didn’t know what to expect since we hadn’t been there before and I figured we would just go in the shop, choose a bear and stuff it, not quite!

Once Dylan picked out a bear, which he has named “Spiesterman”, we were greeted by a lovely woman who walked us right through the process.

We then picked out a sound for the bear that Dylan chose, he liked the Darth Vader noise although it has nothing to do with “Spiesterman” but it was cool!

After we picked out the sound the women then explained to Dylan how to stuff the bear in the machine, she let him use the pedal that makes it start the stuffing process, then she gave Dylan a heart, told him to kiss the heart and make a wish before she stuffed it inside the bear and zipped him up.

After that, we took the bear over to the bath tub where Dylan gave him a scrub down, I think this was his favorite part as he totally understood what was going on!

We also spent the extra money and added a scent to the bear along with the sound, overall we had a great experience with fun and friendly staff !  Dylan also got a birth certificate for “Speisterman” which was cool and in total we spent around $60.  I think Build  A Bear is a lot of fun, a little bit pricey but great for a special occasion!

Disclosure: I received the product mentioned above for free from Smiley 360 in exchange for my honest opinion, no other compensation was received.
