My 5 year old just started Kindergarten last week and he was so excited whilst I was a little sad, it’s always scary seeing your kids grow up into little people! I never realized there are so many things that you need for your child starting school, we went little crazy on school supplies, clothes, drink and food. My son loves juice and chocolate milk so that was one of the easy decisions we faced when stocking up on school stuff. Dr Pepper Snapple Group has a great variety of drinks that are the perfect size to fit in my sons lunch box. Mott’s, Yoo-hoo, and Hawaiian Punch are some of our favorite drinks we like to keep in our home for school lunches and pretty much any occasion, I have to hide Yoo-hoo from my husband as he would drink it all.
Mott’s is perfect for school lunches and each 8oz glass of Mott’s Apple Juice provides you with 2 servings of fruit, whilst Mott’s Grape Juice provides you with 1 1/2 servings. My son won’t eat fruit so this is the perfect way for him to get his daily servings since he is super fussy but loves juice!
You can also freeze Mott’s Apple Juice and put it in a glass of water, my daughter won’t really drink water unless it has some flavor so this is a great way to get her to drink it!
Yoo-hoo is just an all time favorite for the whole family, my husband who is the biggest kid loves it and it’s the perfect accompaniment to my sons peanut butter sandwich!
Hawaiian Punch has the most refreshing flavor and you can definitely fit a few of those in a lunch box, it’s also made with natural fruit flavors and they are delicious!
Just recently I found out that Mott’s, Yoo-hoo, and Hawaiian Punch, are all part of the Dr Pepper Snapple Group and I seriously had no idea, I pretty much like every drink they have to offer and it’s nice to know that such a great group of products are from one of my favorite brands.
Now that school has started back, I obviously don’t get to spend as much time with my son as I would like so it’s important that I find some great things for us to do when he isn’t at school. Let’s Play has lots of fun ideas for things to do for after school playtime, outdoor play, boredom play and lots more, it’s a great resource that will keep the whole family busy!
According to the 2016 State of Play Survey, did you know that of the kids who do play daily, there is a significant drop in daily active play at age 5? When many children enter Kindergarten, from 50% of 4-year-olds to only 31% of 5-year-olds the decline in daily play is most visible among children ages 5-8.
Let’s Play was launched in 2011 by Dr Pepper Snapple Group and they provide tools, place and inspiration to make play an every day priority!
So when you are looking to do something fun with your kids, grab your Mott’s, Yoo-hoo or Hawaiian Punch and check out LetsPlay.com for exciting things to do!
