If you read my blog often, you will know how long, frizzy and thick my hair is and the only thing that makes it look good is either curling it or straightening it. I was recently introduced to a new company called Old Wives Tail and I was provided with a sample of their Organic Rosemary Oil Treatment to check out.
Old Wives tail is a small hair company that sells handmade and organic hair care products with absolutely no added cchemicalsor additives. Nourish your hair back to life the latino way with their unique blend of oils and help eradicate animal testing.
The Argan and Rosemary Organic Oil helps to deeply condition, moisturize and protect thick and frizzy hair. The vitamin E enriched argan oil and shea butter is used to strengthen each and every strand of hair to prevent damage and breakage.
The organic rosemary oil helps stimulate your scalp and encourages healthy hair growth. You can use this as a deep conditioner or use just a few drops to help smooth, style and tame your hair.
If your hair is in really bad shape it is recommended that you use this twice a week as a deep conditioning treatment and leave the oil on overnight wrapped in a warm towel.
This is also vegan which I like and as far as texture goes, I didn’t find it heavy on my hair, I only used a little bit the first time before straightening my hair and it seemed to keep my hair in shape for a couple of days before I washed it again, a little bit also goes a long way.
I tried the deep conditioning method and wrapped it in a warm towel overnight, I did notice a big difference in how manageable my hair was, I haven’t seen any long lasting effects but I think this is great for a quick fix and also works good as a conditioning treatment if you use it a few times a week and if it were to be added into a regular hair routine I think the results would be great, this also smells amazing!
